The butterfly is a wood cutout that I designed. Toothpicks are used to hand carve lines into a paste I created that is applied on the wood cutout. Gold Leaf is applied carefully & varnished. Its attached to a painted wood panel and a sawtooth hanger is screwed onto the back to hang! Or it stand on its own on a bedroom stand or mantle.

These Mardi Gras pieces are designed by me! The masks, jester hats, and crowns are a wood cutout that I designed. Toothpicks are used to hand carve lines into a paste I created that is applied on the wood cutout.. Gold Leaf is applied carefully & varnished. The jester hats and crowns are painted with toothpicks on the bottom half! The wood panel is painted and a sawtooth hanger is screwed into the back for hanging. It can stand by itself or can be placed on a mantle or a side table.
